A new visual identity

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM (18th February 2016). We are proud to present our Annual report 2015 and to announce the launch of a new logo, to reveal our newly designed website, as part of the ongoing evolution of CITA.

The Annual report 2015  is a compendium of our activities for the year 2015 and it can be downloaded quickly and easily, or read online.

New logo. It was the perfect time for us to evaluate our logo to ensure it was in sync with who we are and where we are going. After careful consideration, we chose a new logo that represents our continuity with the past, but with a more modern look that captures the CITA’s future direction. This has been possible by adding a graphic symbol an icon, which is called the isotype, to the typographic representation of the brand’s name. This element is the result of a fusion made between a car wheel and a world: the idea was to highlight CITA sector in its logo and at the same time highlight the fact that CITA is a worldwide organization.

The task in the upcoming weeks will be to update all our collateral, letters, business cards, gadget etc. with the new logo. We realize that changing a logo is a process that can involve many steps and take some time, so we will finalize it gradually.

New website. Our new website, aside from being aesthetically pleasing, is more agile, interactive, and is easier to read and navigate, enabling members and visitors, to find what they need quickly. Just as importantly, our key messages and value propositions are evident and clear. One of our main goals we wanted to achieve when designing the new site was to help visitors get to know us better and get a feel for who we are as a group. We are now using a responsive design, which means that you’ll see essentially the same design optimized for your smart phone, tablet and desktop. We’re quite proud of it, but we know there’s still some work to do. In the coming weeks, we continue improving the site so that it best serves how we communicate with you.

  • Please note that the old website will still running for a while in order to give access to the “member area”, but it will not be updated anymore.

What new also…now you can reach us also on the social media: we open a page on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr and YouTube. Don’t forget to follow and like us!
