A new CITA member from Belgium
ACT (Automobiel Controle en Techniek nv) is recognized by the Brussels regional government to perform automotive technical inspections as well as driver’s license exams.
Recognized Brussels sites are located in Brussels East area: inspection station 12, inspection 02, and exam center 1001.
The scope of the technical inspections varies from motorcycles, over oldtimers to even larger busses and trucks.
Besides the classic periodic M1 N1 inspections, inspections for second-hand market and inspections after accidents, ACT also performs remote inspections onsite at Scania Trucks Belgium.
The technical site in Evere (Brussels) is one of the largest in Belgium, averaging over 500 inspections per day. It also hosts a unique conformity and homologation service in close cooperation with the Brussels competent authority Bruxelles Mobilité – SPRB-GOB.
As the Belgian PTI legislation has been regionalized, ACT faces increased new challenges in which an uncompromised CITA membership is key.
