EAA Company Limited (EAA) is a Japanese privately owned entity founded in 2007. Their core business is conducting independent third-party quality and safety inspections for road vehicles, equipment, plant and machinery, in accordance to customer requirements.
The Company Head Office is located in the Port of Yokohama and they have an established branch network of owner operated inspection facilities in the port zones of major cities such as Kawasaki, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe and Kita-Kyushu. EAA has also established an international network, through branch offices in the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates, and agencies in South Africa, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
A primary business focus for EAA is the Pre-Export Verification of Conformity to Standards inspection (Pre-Shipment) on road vehicles. These are contracted by clients (mainly Government Authorities) to ensure that un-roadworthy used vehicles are detected prior to leaving the source country. Thus, ensuring that unsafe vehicles are not able to be imported. EAA is one of the leading inspection service providers for used vehicles exported from Japan and the United Kingdom (through direct Government contracts).
EAA strives to ensure that exporters meet the environment and safety standards of the importing country. They carry out high quality pre-shipment inspection and issue certificates as proof of compliance and assurance to the importing country authorities, and end users.
