During the event, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness and various associations such as AECA-ITV have announced the arrival of a new and important modification of the procedure manual that governs all vehicle technical inspection. The conclusions, from both Aeca-ITV and the experts participating in the National ITV Days, are that there is enough technology to make a more exhaustive control of pollutant emissions and that more effective fraud detection in the form of illegal manipulations is possible.
