The 3rd CITA Regional Conference of Central and South America

_p8i8124CITA has celebrated its 3rd Conferences in Central and South America in San José, Costa Rica, from the 8th to the 10th of November. The event has been hosted by the Costa Rica Ministry of Transport – MOPT, COSEVI and RITEVE and sponsored by Maha, Actia Müller, Cosber, Capelec, Ryme and Vteq.

Ms Liza Castillo, Vice Minister of Transport and Road Safety of the MOPT and Mr Juan Diego Rodríguez, Vice President of CITA and CEO of RITEVE inaugurated the Conference. Some of the most relevant speakers were Ms Karla González, from the World Bank and former Minister of Transport in Costa Rica, Mr Walter Nissler from UN, Dr. Enrique Pérez from WHO-PAHO and Mr Roy Rojas and Mr José Manuel Chaves from COSEVI. The event has been a great success with more than the double of attendees than in the last edition. (see pictures here)

CITA ha celebrado sus 3as Conferencias de Centro y Sudamérica en San José de Costa Rica, del 8 al 10 de noviembre. Los anfitriones del acto han sido el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes de Costa Rica, COSEVI y RITEVE y ha contado con el patrocinio de  Maha, Actia Müller, Cosber, Capelec, Ryme y Vteq.

Da. Liza Castillo, Vice Ministro de Transporte y de Seguridad Vial del MOPT y D. Juan Diego Rodríguez, Vicepresidente de CITA y Consejero Delegado de RITIVE inauguraron la Conferencia. Algunos de los ponentes más destacados fueron Da. Karla González, del Banco Mundial y ex Ministro de Trasporte de Costa Rica, D. Walter Nissler de la ONU, el Dr. Enrique Pérez de la OMS – OPS y D. Roy Rojas y D. José Manuel Chaves de COSEVI. (see presentations here)

Las Conferencias han sido un gran éxito, con más del doble de participantes respecto a la edición anterior.
