ECSS Project: Electronically Controlled Safety Systems
ECSS was a one year project undertaken by a consortium of twelve organisations led by CITA and funded under a service contract by the European Commission Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE).
Objectives
The target of the ECSS project is to define a feasible inspection procedure for vehicle safety electronic systems, using standard tools, and ensuring a positive cost benefit ratio once implemented.
