Workshop: “The Role of Multilateral Finance in Road Safety” | ONLY CITA MEMBERS

This Workshop will provide you with the opportunity to learn what the International Financial Institutions finance for road safety in emerging and developing countries and also learn about the type of activities they support.
We will have the chance to learn about:
- The view of the UN, as one of the main stakeholders defining the road safety strategy in low- and medium-income countries;
- The activities of the World Bank in supporting governments to reach road safety goals;
- How the European Commission is involved in international road safety development;
- Which are the activities of the International Finance Corporation, the agency of the World Bank to help the private sector;
- The role of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, another World Bank agency covering risks;
- The experience of the Spanish Traffic Directorate in the Twinning project with Algeria;
- The procurement process with the Multilateral Finance Institutions;
- And what is CITA doing about all the above.
