It is already influencing regulated vehicle safety systems and inspection activities. From AI-supported driving functions to the potential integration of AI-based checks and ADAS verification within inspection lanes\, the regulatory and operational implications for our community are significant. \nThe evolving AI regulatory framework — including aspects such as transparency requirements\, validation methodologies\, lifecycle management\, and cybersecurity considerations — will directly affect both type approval processes and PTI.
