We are pleased to announce that the registration process to the CITA International Conference & 22nd General Assembly IS OPEN!
The event will be hosted by RDW (The Netherlands Vehicle Authority) from the 6 to 8 JUNE 2023 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
CITA conferences attract hundreds of specialists and policy makers from all regions of the world. The event is a unique opportunity to meet the experts of all fields of vehicle continuous compliance, both from the governmental and from the private side.
Delegates from National and International Administrations, Ministries, Law makers, Vehicle Roadworthiness operators, equipment manufacturers, and other interested parties regularly attend.
This edition’s theme is “Safe and Sustainable Road Transport” and, beside the plenary sessions, with top level representatives of the most relevant stakeholders, you can attend different split sessions:
- Vehicle compliance in low- and middle-income countries
- New technologies and data management
- Environmental protection

Last week, 10 November 2022, the European Commission published its proposal for new vehicle pollutant emission standards. 
On October 26th and 27th, CITA, represented by Mr. Wilhelm Ponciano, was present in Panama for an important series of activities related to the vehicle overhaul in the context of the week entitled: "PARA UNA MOVILIAD SEGURA, SOSTENIBLE Y SALUDABLE" (FOR A SAFE, SUSTAINABLE AND HEALTHY MOBILITY).

Last 21 September has been published a study regarding the suitability of electrochemical gas analyzer equipment for NOx measurement at PTI.
Last Tuesday (20 September 2022), in the frame of the European Mobility Week (16-22 September 2022), CITA hosted a conference in collaboration with the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU entitled:" The challenge of controlling emissions and non-road machinery". 
This week, in the frame of the RAG North America (RAG NA) activities, CITA President G. Müller, Mr. P. Villari - CITA RAG NA Chairperson, and Mr. A. McIntosh, together with Dr. S. Matthews, presented Dr Matthews’s research on the impact of safety inspection programs in the USA to the Committee of Transports and Infrastructures of the US House of Representatives. 
Last week (30 August - 1 September) were held two meetings in Kigali, Rwanda. CITA, represented by Mr. Benny Örnerfors, had a significant role in the presentations given in the events. During all three days, stakeholders from the ministerial level down to the purely operational level were on site, deeply engaged and all very communicative. 
GOCA Flanders and the vehicle inspection sector in Belgium continue to focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility.
