Beissbarth is the new CITA Corporate Member

Beissbarth is a company with tradition – based in Munich since 1899.

Businessmen Daniel and Hermann Beissbarth, close friends of Daimler, were automotive pioneers in Bavaria at the end of the 19th century. For example, at the time they received the very first vehicle registration plate no. “1”, which is today exhibited in the German Museum, as well as Germany’s first driving license. Beginning in 1951, the sons of the company’s founders developed the first automotive service equipment.

Today Beissbarth employs over 200 staff manufacturing modern test and service equipment for vehicle workshops, corresponding to the continuously growing standards of the automotive industry. Its primary focus during the past decades has been set on wheel alignment, vehicle testing and products for tyre service.
Beissbarth service equipment is approved and recommended by international automotive manufacturers (OE) and is used in OE service networks worldwide. The extensive research and development team continuously creates innovative products for the market. Additional important customer segments include independent garages, tyre retail chains, fast fitters and authorized inspection organizations. They all especially appreciate Beissbarth’s precision and measuring accuracy – together with the corresponding efficient test procedures.

A network of authorized 250 wholesalers and service providers worldwide are active Beissbarth partners. They are supported directly from the Munich-based service and sales team and online via the software centre. The Beissbarth customer service team and hotline ensure efficient support of customers within Germany.
The development, approval, marketing and servicing of test equipment is customer-oriented and is undertaken in close collaboration with major vehicle manufacturers.
