The Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting

PrintWith great honour, CITA will take part at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 96th Annual Meeting, which will be held at the beginning of the next year on January 8 – 12 2017, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, in Washington, D.C. – USA.

The meeting program will cover all transportation modes, with more than 5,000 presentations in over 800 sessions and workshops, addressing topics of interest to policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions.

The meeting is expected to attract more than 12,000 transportation professionals from throughout the United States and 70 other countries from around the world.

A number of sessions and workshops will focus on the meeting’s spotlight theme: “Transportation Innovation. Leading the Way in an Era of Rapid Change”; and on TRB’s three hot topics: Transportation Resilience, Transportation and Public Health, and Transformational Technologies.

The speech of CITA, presented by its Executive Director Eduard Fernández, will take place in the session 812:“Regulatory Liberalization and Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety: Europe and North America”
